Medical Insurance
As an enrolled international student aged 18 and above holding a valid Student Pass at United Ceres College Singapore, you are entitled to coverage under the Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy. Please refer to the Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy and Certificate of Insurance for more information.
To submit a claim, you are required to provide the following student details along with all relevant medical documents. Kindly send your submission to [email protected].

- NRIC/FIN Number
- School Admission Date
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Nationality
- Email Address
Supporting Documents (where applicable):
- Receipts and tax invoices
- Doctor’s memo
- Discharge summary
The Group Personal Accident Insurance is provided by MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. for eligible students with a valid Student Pass aged 18 and above.
Living Expenses in Singapore
Planning your monthly budget is an important part of preparing for your student journey in Singapore. Your living expenses will vary depending on where you stay, your food choices, how you travel, and your personal lifestyle.
As a general guide, international students may expect to spend around SGD 1,500 – 2,800 per month on basic living expenses. If you prefer private accommodation or spend more on dining, shopping, entertainment, or other personal activities, you may need to set aside a higher budget.
How Much Should I Budget?
Budget Lifestyle: SGD 1,500 – 1,900 per month
Suitable if you stay in shared accommodation, use public transport, eat mainly at hawker centres or food courts, and keep your personal spending within a budget.
Moderate Lifestyle: SGD 1,900 – 2,800 per month
Suitable if you prefer more comfortable accommodation and spend moderately on meals, shopping, entertainment, and personal activities.
Higher-Cost Lifestyle: SGD 2,800 – 4,500+ per month
You may need a higher budget if you choose private accommodation, dine out frequently, use taxis or private-hire services regularly, or spend more on shopping and entertainment.
