Graduation Requirements: Students who complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure and fulfil attendance requirement will be issued with a “Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (Mandarin)” by United Ceres College.


Admission Criteria

Language Requirements: 

  • Completed 12 years of formal education with Mandarin as the medium of instruction or,
  • Achieved a minimum of HSK4 in the Chinese Proficiency Test.

Academic Entry Requirements: 

  • Obtained at least a 3-Year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or
  • Matured candidate with no qualifications but at least 8 years of working experience, subjected to review after interview conducted by United Ceres College.

What You Will Learn

Additionally, the module will guide students in designing and implementing an effective strategic change management plan, enabling them to lead their organisations towards sustainable competitive advantage.

2. Financial Strategy and Risk Management

This module aims to equip students with the skills needed to rigorously analyse financial statements for identifying trends and potential risks. Building on this foundation, students will learn to formulate capital budgeting and investment strategies through financial analysis. The module also focuses on enabling students to evaluate financial decisions using the principles of risk-return trade-off and portfolio theory. Lastly, students will gain the practical skills to create a comprehensive financial plan for a business scenario.

3. International Business Negotiation and Cross-Cultural Dynamics

This module aims to equip students with the skills to effectively evaluate and apply negotiation principles within international settings. Participants will learn how to analyse and implement tailored negotiation techniques to meet specific challenges. A strong emphasis is placed on strategising negotiation plans that are sensitive to cross-cultural dynamics. Students will also assess the variations in negotiation styles across different cultures. Throughout the course, teamwork is fostered as students are encouraged to collaborate respectfully and reach compromises in diverse team settings.

4. Innovation Leadership and Entrepreneurial Dynamics

This module aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of various facets of entrepreneurship and innovation in a business context. The course focuses on teaching students how to analyse business opportunities for new venture creation and formulate a robust business model accompanied by a financial plan for a startup. It delves into the critical role of innovation in driving business success, offering frameworks for evaluating its impact. Furthermore, the module provides practical insights into designing and implementing an innovation management plan tailored to specific business scenarios.
