Singapore has clear rules around what international students can and cannot do while holding a Student Pass. Recent checks by the authorities have found cases where some students often unknowingly ended up breaking these rules, sometimes after receiving incorrect advice or using unverified documents.

Can Student Pass Holders Work?

In general, Student Pass holders are not allowed to work in Singapore, whether part-time, freelance, online, or self-employed, unless:
